Ahmedabad is India’s fifth most populous city. In 2016, it was categorized as a ‘Smart City’, but its biggest problem is still the increasing use of motorcycles and cars, which have been multiplying over the last 10 years. The reason behind this increase, according to officials, is that people struggle to get to public transportation points and have to transfer many times to reach the city’s most convenient and extensive network of buses. City planners have begun to encourage people to use bicycles and alternative micromobility solutions to address this lack of public transport and minimize their carbon footprint. These solutions include bicycles, electric rickshaws and shared bicycle and e-scooter services. We may be about 6,000 kilometers away from India, but we anticipate the same problems in our surroundings and with BinBin, we provide services all over the city, especially at public transportation points, enabling our customers to reach their destinations faster and in an environmentally beneficial way.
